Troup Head is the only mainland ganetry in Scotland. With over 2000 breading gannets on the high cliffs it is a must visit site for visitors. The cliffs also have breading Guilimot, Razorbill, Puffin, Kittiwake and Fulmar. Look out to sea and there is a chance of seeing Dolphins, Porpoises and Great Skua The beat time to visit Troup Head is in the summer when the birds are on the cliffs in their thousands. Hoever the reserve is open all year For realy fantastic views you can join local boat operators from Macduff and Banff out to Troup Head from March to September or visit – link to http://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves/guide/t/trouphead/index.asp |
